Scheduling for Non- Schedulers SM21

Ended Aug 30, 2021
1 credit

Full course description

This Construction Scheduling course, facilitated by the Department of Construction Science and the Office of the Provost, provides specific construction schedule training to active practitioners. This course has been created for professionals with 1-8 years’ experience who currently execute projects.

We will explore topics relevant for non-schedulers, addressing the differences between planning and scheduling and how they should progress from one to the other; schedule fundamentals, including why scheduling works; and how to properly build, update, and maintain your project schedules.

This course will not introduce participants to Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project scheduling software. Rather, it will address the who, what, where, and how of developing, maintaining, and interpreting your schedule for maximum impact to improve your chances of finishing your projects on time.

We’re looking forward to sharing what we know to help you move forward with smoother project execution and increasing your scheduling knowledge base!
